This website is a UMW undergraduate project documenting the history of immigration to Alexandria, Virginia.  The narrative generated here is episodic, focusing on developments particular to the community.  Over the course of the semester, students will post in depth analyses of primary sources on the blog.  At the end of the semester, they will upload their final research projects.
